   The Little Blue Pilot

   Refining

   The records, the album film and eleven music videos are out, and the attention is on the artist’s own website. littlebluepilot.com was rebuilt on 24 October with every old address still working, and the work since is refinement: the fixes from its site audit, lighter pages for phones, and flight notes that answer the questions families ask about flying. Since 28 October its offline copy is saved only when a reader asks for it, so a first visit downloads none of it.

   WPAudio Engine

   In progress

   The analysis half works: five analysers, album-level statistics, HTML and JSON reports, and a deterministic reference-mastering recipe that produces masters from targets an engineer sets. Two released records have now gone through it. Second Flight was the second real production workload and a different brief: one album-wide reference level in place of a decision per track. Next is still the Decision Engine, which would set those targets itself, starting with safety and loudness compliance before anything tonal.

   Writing

   The October revamp is finished, and the attention has moved to the writing. Three new Journal entries follow The Little Blue Pilot: how his world grew, how his website was rebuilt, and why Ask Little Blue answers only from a curated list.    JetLabs

   Research

   Two small explorations around learning and interaction in the pilot’s world are being specified: what to try, with whom, and what would count as evidence. Nothing is built, and nothing will be published about them until something has been tried.

Real work that is not being worked on. Saying so is more useful than a roadmap implying everything is in flight at once.
